How we work — from intake to attributable coverage

Most agencies sell creative and leave sample logistics, briefing, and affiliate ops to the brand team. 2A Media productizes that spine. Here is the path we use for brand retainers and project waves — so you know what happens after the first call.

  1. 01

    Intake & scope

We clarify category, SKUs, platforms, disclosure expectations, and what “success” means (content volume, affiliate revenue, launch support, or a mix). You get a short written scope: deliverables, timeline, and what we need from your warehouse, storefront, or legal.

    • You provide: Product truth sheet, shipping constraints, brand claims / do-not-say list, affiliate terms if applicable.
    • You get: Scoped plan and kickoff checklist.
  2. 02

    Creator match

We shortlist evaluators and publishers by niche fit, content honesty, platform mix, and whether they can carry coverage on video and — when relevant — their own site. Matching runs through 2A, not open DMs to your inbox.

    • You provide: ICP notes, hard exclusions, sample budget / unit counts.
    • You get: Shortlist rationale and recommended seeding wave size.
  3. 03

    Testing & Evaluation (T&E)

Media kits, ship coordination, content windows, and FTC endorsement reminders. Samples leave with a brief — risk ladder, safer YouTube angles, and a publish target — not a blank box.

    • You provide: Units, ship-from details, any RMA rules.
    • You get: Requested → shipped → published status visibility.
  4. 04

    Publish tracking

We track what went live against the brief: URLs, disclosures, and whether coverage stayed inside the agreed angle. Soft issues get a rewrite ask; platform-risk issues get escalated before they become a brand problem.

    • You provide: Fast feedback on claims if a draft needs review.
    • You get: A living content log tied to the wave.
  5. 05

    Reporting & next plays

Affiliate clicks, orders, and program cost (when we manage the program), roster health, and recommended next-quarter seeding or creative refreshes. Real numbers from systems we run — not vanity dashboards.

    • You provide: Access to the affiliate portal or storefront reports we manage.
    • You get: Period report and prioritized next actions.

Engagement shapes

  • Project — single T&E wave, launch brief pack, or affiliate standup
  • Retainer — ongoing T&E + affiliate ops with monthly reporting
  • Hybrid — launch project that converts to a managed program

What we do not pretend to be

A full AOR creative/PR shop with in-house film crews and national media buying. When that is the better fit, we say so. Our lane is the operational spine: T&E, creator briefing, and affiliate program management for regulated outdoor and firearms categories.
